The USS Bataan (LHD 5) is an Amphibious Assault Ship primarily used as the command ship of an Expeditionary Strike Group. The Bataan served as the flagship for Fleet Week. 04-30-05 2:00pm Mary Dilda pilots the FedEx "Two of Hearts" T-6 Texan. 04-30-05 2:01pm In addition to performing at airshows, Mary is also an accomplished aircraft racer... including taking first place in an L-39 "Albatros" jet named ""Heartless." 04-30-05 2:02pm I believe this was Mary's first performance at the Air & Sea Show... hopefully we'll be seeing her at future shows. 04-30-05 2:04pm B-1B "Bone" Lancer flyby. 04-30-05 2:14pm Four time US Champion Kirby Chambliss returns in his Red Bull Zivko EDGE 540 Unlimited Class aerobatic aircraft. 04-30-05 2:19pm Kirby is the 2005 Captain of the US Aerobatic Team. 04-30-05 2:19pm The E-540 aircraft is powered by a 327+ HP Lycoming Engine and has a roll rate of 420 degrees/sec. 04-30-05 2:19pm Fred Cabanas returned again this year in his PITTS SPECIAL S2-C. 04-30-05 2:31pm Fred lives in Key West and is one of my favorite performers. 04-30-05 2:33pm Fred was proclaimed the General of the Conch Republic Air Force in 1992. 04-30-05 2:34pm Ummm... bombing run? 04-30-05 2:38pm
